The Wannabee clothing store was officially launched on Tuesday September 15 by the Enterprise at UP Trust. Among the attendees were Prof. Chris de Beer, the acting Vice- Chancellor and Principal.
The formalities of the night encompassed an address by business woman and TV personality, Ms Uyanda Mbuli. Stav Yiannakis of TuksFm presided over the function, which also included the SRC’s top brass.
The unveiling of the Wannabee brand was done by Prof. Chris de Beer, Mr Deon Herbst and Mr Johan Nel, both of the Enterprise at UP Trust.
The true highlight of the evening, however, was the fashion show where the Wannabee clothing line was shown off. From cozy pull-overs to smart business clothes and blazers, the UP-branded line caters for all tastes. Even the summer designs were sleek, yet understated, and the models were sure to attract the eye.
