Versaa, featuring Taaibos’s own ex-external culture HK of Lungelo Moyo and old Olienhout cabinet member Samuel Mahlangu were first to take the stage. The duo wowed crowds with their own take on a couple of familiar tunes.
Shaun M, a familiar Taaibos face picked up the pace of the evening with his own EDM selection and became a fast crowd favourite. DJ Mako followed with a hip hop set and then Matt Gardiner, who has opened for names like Matthew Mole, Prime Circle and Desmond and the Tutus. The crowd enjoyed him so much that he was coerced into another two closing songs. Gardiner set the tone for the headliners, the December Streets. After an action packed set, Vimo shut down the evening.
Overall the Taaibos July was definitely worth looking forward to and left many guests in good spirits.
