Arcade Empire at 19:00: Quiz Night. Bar tabs are up for grabs and there is no entry fee. Tables of 4 – 6 people can be booked via Whatsapp on 079 805 2447.
WEDNESDAY, 28 FEBRUARY:
Blue Room at 19:00: Student Night Wednesdays will be in full swing with R12 beer specials. Free entry when a valid student card is presented.
Aandklas at 20:00: Quiz Night. With free entry and a maximum group size of 8 people, quiz night is guaranteed to be a fun way to test your knowledge for a high five or a shot. Pen and paper is provided and you’ll enter your team right before the quiz begins.
Madison Avenue at 20:00: Varsity Challenge. Week two, once again, challenges every student to write their name and res name on an entry card in a bid to win a party bus and a R10 000 bar tab for their residence. Resident DJ’s Solly P and Castellano will be on deck with Madison Mugs and buy one get one free shooter specials.
THURSDAY, 1 MARCH:
Aandklas at 20:00: Hard Rock Thursdays. R10 entrance fee at the door. Happy Hour from 20:00 to 21:00
FRIDAY, 2 MARCH:
Arcade Empire at 18:00: AC/DC – Black Sabbath tribute night with music by AC/DC and Black Sabbath performed by members of Undertone. R40 entry at the door.
Madison Avenue at 20:00: Official Summer Send Off. Guest host Paul Mendez, Solly P and Castellano. Drink specials for the evening include Madison Mugs at R15 to R20 and a buy one get one free shooter special from 22:00 – 00:00. Entrance is R20 before 22:00 and R50 thereafter.
SATURDAY, 3 MARCH:
Blue Room at 19:00: Single Ladies Night. You don’t necessarily need to be single, but you do need to be a lady to enjoy Blue Room’s Ladies Night. Hennessy at R500 and cocktails buy-one-get-one free until 23:00. Entrance for ladies is free excluding event days.
News Café at 16:00: Bottomless Bubbles. Bottomless champagne until 20:00 for R140 per bottomless glass. Entry is free.
SUNDAY, 4 MARCH:
Aandklas at 18:30: Open Mic Sundays. This is a platform for new and experienced musicians alike. Each artist has a 20 minute slot to showcase their talent and the stage is open from 19:00 to 22:00. Free entry. Pizza, beer and cocktail specials are available.
