Janice Honeyman’s Peter Pan: a magnificent must-see

by PDBY Staff | Dec 16, 2014 | Entertainment

Those who feel that Honeyman’s pantomimes are reserved solely for children had best think twice, as the show’s wittiness and music serve to accommodate an older audience as well. With Idols SA favourite Bongi Mthombeni in the role of Smee and Thembsie Matu as Tinker Bell, audiences are sure to be delighted by excellent acting, heart-warming musical numbers and on-point humour.

Where else can you expect to be handed a scratch-‘n-sniff card and a 5c piece at the theatre door, or see a massive crocodile with a thick Afrikaans accent on stage? The magic and hilarity that Honeyman’s Peter Pan brings to the stage is an unforgettable experience, and is sure to enchant audiences of any age.

Peter Pan runs at the Jo’burg Theatre until 28 December 2014.
