The festival will also feature the third African Women’s Writer’s Symposium as part of its programme. The festival’s highlight event, Jazz on the Lake, will be taking place at the James & Ethel Gray Park in Melrose this year, featuring artists such as Nigerian saxophonist Femi Koya and Mozambican guitarist Jimmy Dludlu.
If you are interested in the arts and happen to be in Johannesburg for a few days, check out the festival. It is an annual exhibition of the best Africa has to offer in different art forms such as dance, music and poetry.
