How long have you been a jazz pianist?
I’ve been playing classical [piano] since I was nine years old, and when I finished high school in 2009 I decided I wanted to do jazz.
Do you know where your sound is heading or is it still in the process of developing?
I’ve got a good idea [of] where it’s going. It has a lot of elements but they work well together. I think I’m almost there.
Do you have a favourite artist playing at Oppikoppi this year?
Yes, I have lots of them.Moonchild and Ross Jackare two of my favourites. They both have a really cool sound. I’m also really keen to see a few international acts.
