Review: Plugged In: A live connection

by PDBY Staff | Jul 22, 2016 | Entertainment

They type of choreographed movements used are quite powerful and have been used effectively to portray the different aspects of technology. The two male dancers were particularly strong in their technique, while both female performers stood out with for their engaging facial acting. Some of the lifts used were impressive to watch and kept the choreography very engaging to the audience. The piece as a whole was pleasurable to watch while also making the audience aware of the undesirable properties of the technology we use every day.

Plugged In is an enjoyable performance for a wide range of audience members. The 30 minute run time of the piece makes it ideal for students looking to catch one of the festival shows during a break between classes. This show would be recommended to audiences who enjoy dance, particularly contemporary or physical theatre.
