TuksCricket recently celebrated winning the Phangiso CAP Provincial Academy 50-over Tournament against the Northwest Dragons Academy.

With an incredible 151 runs not out off of 153 balls, Hayden Bishop led the attack. His performance was defined by concentration, endurance, and unwavering dedication. Josh Jordaan provided excellent support, adding a spectacular 92 runs off of 86 balls that established a noteworthy partnership.

At UP, we often speak about academic success. However, achievements like this serve as a reminder that there are other ways that students can succeed. Long practices, early mornings, balancing books and crickets, and doing it with dignity are all part of TuksCricket’s journey. Every student who is striving for something, whether on or off the field, can relate to their victory.

There is more to TuksCricket than just winning a trophy. They have served as a reminder of the value of wearing the UP badge with purpose. Most importantly, they have shown us that greatness follows when you pursue your passion.
