There once was a girl who dreamed of the West,
Who closed her eyes and said a prayer
By the count of three, her head was at rest,
And there her destiny began to layer.
From the south she took with her,
A best friend and a soul,
And left an incredible amount of vigor
In the hands of the one who kept her whole.
She arrived in the north with promise and laughter,
And paused to admire for a while
The spectacle of jesters and crafters
And left each of them with a piece of her smile
She finally makes her way to the west,
Beaming with excitement of fulfilling her dream,
She put her hands on her chest and leaves her final gift,
The journey is fulfilled and her heart is as her head,
With scattered presents and a memory for all to share
Of the journey of the girl who dreamed of the west
