Compiled by KRISTIN DE DECKER  University of Witwatersrand Vice-Chancellor and Principal of Wits, Professor Adam Habib, has resigned and will leave the institution at the end of the year. This will end his eighth year in the position. Habib will take up the role as Director of the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) University of London, in January 2021. In a statement released on 18 February he said that “[his] decision was not made slightly.
