Digital Manager 2021/'22
Leah is a pale … awkward … asthmatic ginger.
She used to be Head of Layout (cries) before becoming Digital Manager in an effort to take over PDBY, an effort that has since failed (it’s all political). She has a keen eye for alignment, an intense love for tequila and chicken nuggets, and occasionally enjoys frollicking in the hills. To end off this bio she leaves this final nugget of wisdom “You just lost the game”.

Well I am Tankiso Mothopeng, final year International Relations student. I am 20 years old and prefer to do nothing. Literally my biggest hobby is doing nothing. It’s a miracle how I’ve made it to my final year but I made it. But when I’m not doing nothing, I like to dive deep and head first into people’s business. I like news. I like being the center of information and distributing that information. I guess that why I wanted to be a news journalist.
Susanna is currently stu(dying) genetics and joined the PDBY team in 2019. She divides her time between writing and playing with plant disease samples. She’s got a memory like an elephant – so she probably keeps track of student promises. Picture not to scale.

Marketing Manager 2021
I was coersed into working for PDBY’s layout team in 2019 by my friends who also happened to work at the paper. Their skillful coercion tactics worked as by the end of 2019 I had become the Multimedia stills editor for the 2019/2020 working year. In 2020, their tactics improved and worked once more as I am now the marketing manager of PDBY for the 2020/2021 working year. Don’t worry, little effort was required for this coercion as I was already one with the paper and it’s family at this point and had too much FOMO to leave. I am safe and now have a case of Stockholm syndrome – I love you PDBY!
